Protein & Biochemistry calculators
Protein work starts with numbers: the molecular weight and isoelectric point from a sequence, the extinction coefficient that turns an absorbance into a concentration, and the colorimetric assays (Bradford, BCA, Lowry) that measure protein in a mixture against a standard curve.
The second half covers what proteins do: enzyme activity and specific activity, Michaelis-Menten kinetics with a nonlinear fit, IC50 and EC50 from dose-response curves, binding affinity, and the thermodynamics (free energy and equilibrium constants) that connect them. Calibration models are stated explicitly on every assay page, and fitted values come with their uncertainty.
