Cell Culture calculators

The calculations that come up at every passage: turning a hemocytometer count into cells per mL, measuring viability, diluting a suspension, seeding wells or flasks at a chosen density, splitting a culture, and tracking growth as doubling time and population doubling level.

Counts are reported with their sampling uncertainty, because a count of fifty cells and a count of five hundred are not equally trustworthy. Estimates that depend on a property of your own cell line, such as confluence, are labelled as estimates.
