Indispensable accessory for any kind of surgical procedures. Continuous operation equipment, connected by means of an electric switch. Suction is by means of a vacuum-generating fan, driven by a 127 VAC or 220 VAC electric motor with automatic voltage selection. The apparatus is positioned and installed next to the electrosurgical unit and, in order to provide suction to the required site; accessories such as a hose and a tapered nozzle or a speculum with tube are provided. A high-efficiency (HEPA) mechanical filter is placed at the unit's suction inlet, upstream from the accessories, to trap aspirated viruses and bacteria. An additional activated-charcoal chemical filter is fitted to eliminate the odors from cutting and coagulation with the electrosurgical unit.
