Standards: The QRS SpiroCard spirometer provides effective diagnostic tests and meets the following Standards: American Thoracic Society (ATS/ERS) 2005 Standard British Thoracic Society (BTS) Standard National Institute for Health & Clinical Excellence (NICE) Guidelines Lung Age Calculation: Lung age is calculated for patients ages 20-84. It is equal to the predicted FEV1 that matches the patients actual FEV1. Lung age may differ based on the predicted equation chosen. Patented, Pre-Calibrated Mouthpiece: With the QRS SpiroCard spirometry system, everything the patient touches is thrown away. No sterilization or calibration is necessary, saving time for nurses, therapist and physicians. No Batteries Required: The QRS SpiroCard spirometer draws its power from the PC it is connected to via USB port.
