Orex · Model ACL4
THE OREX CR SOLUTION REPLACES MESSY, SPACE CONSUMING, HARD-TO-STORE, COSTLY FILM WITH DIGITAL X-RAY PROCESSING. BUT THAT'S JUST THE BEGINNING. Orex Computed Radiography (CR) offers a multitude of productivity benefits over traditional analog or film-based systems, including compact digital format storage/archiving, ease of information sharing, lower cost of ownership (reusable digital media) and improved diagnostics (no loss of image quality). The Orex RC patent-pending technology/concept is based on an extremely compact, high quality CR unit (laser scanner) that allows technicians to transfer phosphor plate x-ray images to a DICOM 3.0 compatible digital computer format. The OREX CR phosphor plates eliminate the need for expensive, non-reusable film. The Orex D-CR solutions include laser scanners and phosphor plates and a PC-based QC reviewing station.

Symptoms: Banding, streaks, ghost images, non-uniform density, dust artefacts.
Root cause: Dirty light guide / scanning optics, a worn erase-lamp array, imaging-plate wear, or contaminated transport rollers.
Symptoms: Plate jams in the reader, transport error, plate not returned.
Root cause: Worn or contaminated transport rollers / belts, or a sensor fault.
Symptoms: A faint previous image appears on the next exposure.
Root cause: Erase-lamp array degradation or a driver fault.
Symptoms: No or very noisy image, scan-error message.
Root cause: Scanning laser or the photomultiplier / detection chain.
Symptoms: Images will not display, annotate or send to PACS.
Root cause: Workstation PC or the DICOM configuration.
