Symptom: CRU and SRU not communicating
- Follow ESD precautions and disconnect the power cord before touching PC boards.
- Confirm a fully charged battery is in the SRU and the battery indicator is filled on the CRU screen.
- Check for light out of the TX connector on the back of the CRU and at the RX end at the SRU, and vice versa.
- Reinstall the fiber-optic cable; if there is no light, replace the FO cable.
- If light is present but there is still no comms, replace the expansion-base interface card, then the Servo/CPU card, recalibrating after.
Symptom: CAL-prefix error
- Note the exact CAL code.
- Run the guided recalibration per the service manual.
- If it will not complete or hold, replace the Servo/CPU card.
- Recalibrate fully.
- Verify a bench test injection volume and pressure before returning to service.
