Fluid-bag / load-cell alarms (supply or waste)

During priming, the scope must be open to the air at the level of the patient. Ensure that the fluid flow at the end of the scope is not blocked. Scope must not be in the uterus when priming. Ensure that the inflow tube clamp and scope stopcock are open to allow fluid to flow freely. Once checked per above steps - Reprime the scope.

Ensure device is properly plugged in. If problem persists use another MyoSure device.

Symptom: Persistent supply/waste bag hook alarm
- Confirm the bag is hung correctly on both hooks and is not empty; remove any object other than a bag from the hooks.
- Keep hands off the hooks, wait a few seconds and touch 'Clear'.
- If the alarm persists with a correctly hung bag, note the error code and check for hook damage.
- Run the fluid-deficit measurement test to verify both load cells.
- Recalibrate or replace the load cell if the deficit test fails.
Symptom: Loss of suction during a procedure
- Verify the hysteroscope outflow tubing is connected to the hysteroscope and the outflow port.
- Confirm the buttocks-drape tubing is connected.
- Check the fluid-bag clamp is open.
- Inspect the outflow path for kinks or a clogged filter.
- If suction is still poor with the path clear, follow the on-screen prompts and check the pump/vacuum source.
