A centrifuge device The Shandon Cytospin 2 centrifuge is considered to be the first to employ centrifugal force to isolate and set down a monolayer of cells on slides. The Cytospin 2 can process a maximum of 24 samples in 12 chambers. Shandon Cytospin 2 can accommodate a wide range of samples with the use of Cytofunnel disposable sample chambers, available in size options ranging from 0.1ml to 6ml.
