Schiller · Model Medilog FD5 plus
Reduced workload thanks to the Pure ECG™ technology The medilog® plus range is characterised by a new and unique ECG amplifier which has been specifically developed by SCHILLER in many years of research to meet the requirements of mobile Holter ECGs. Thanks to this ultra-linear amplifier Pure ECGTM technology the ECG is recorded in a more authentic and clearer way than is achieved with comparable products. Holter ECG recordings performed with a recorder from the medilog® plus range show substantially fewer artefacts and require therefore much less time for post-processing - even for active patients. The new medilog® FD5 plus recorder is designed for routine applications, featuring the Pure ECGTM technology for fewer artefacts - and therefore a reduced workload.

Symptoms: Baseline wander, muscle or AC noise, "lead fail", poor 12-lead quality.
Root cause: Poor skin prep, dried or lifting electrodes, or a worn patient cable / lead set.
Symptoms: Acquisition hangs, no interpretation, or a self-test failure.
Root cause: Acquisition-module fault or a software issue.
Symptoms: No or faint report, paper jam, misregistered grid.
Root cause: Thermal print head, paper handling, or (older units) the stylus.
Symptoms: Short battery run time, will not hold charge, will not power on.
Root cause: Aged battery pack.
Symptoms: ECGs will not transmit to the ECG-management system / EMR.
Root cause: Network / Wi-Fi / modem configuration or the communication module.
