Video Gastroscope The Pentax 40 Series Endoscopes feature "fully brushable" internal channels. With the Pentax original detachable distal cap, this series offers the ability to remove the distal air/water and water jet nozzles to pass a cleaning brush through each internal channel. All lumen surfaces - including the air/water, biopsy/suction and water jet systems - are completely accessible for mechanical cleaning with brushes. With infection control and proper reprocessing always an issue, this series maximizes the decontamination process and minimizes the need to service clogged channels.
