Symptom: No or low output
- Connect a large (150 W) H.F. emitter and switch on - confirm the fan starts and the display shows "000".
- Set a treatment time, turn the output control fully anti-clockwise then up to "150", and check for output and that it stops with an end-of-treatment signal at time-out.
- Verify the emitter-detection circuit sees the emitter (start a treatment with the emitter connected and check for H.F. output).
- Check the fan runs and the air is blown through the magnetron with a free intake.
- If the fan, HV supply and detection are good but output is still low, replace the magnetron.
Symptom: Timer does not end the treatment
- Set a short treatment time with a 150 W emitter connected.
- Confirm the output switches off and the end-of-treatment signal sounds at time-out.
