W01Open Interlock; Check Interlock
Check whether external interlock is open. Check for bad electrical connection. Replace if necessary. See System Wiring Diagram.
W02No Fiber
Fiber interlock is open. Install a fiber, then press any key to continue. Check fiber interlock switches in cal port, replace if necessary.
W03No Lamp Simmer; Press Standby
If lamps are not simmering in Standby Mode, check that both lamps flicker. If not, check lamps and simmer circuit. If lamps are simmering, check that the ends of fiber 90 are smooth and shiny. Verify fiber 90 is securely connected at DR4 on Interface PCB and CR1 Simmer PCB.
W05Low Water
Add distilled water to fill level. If fault persists, check for loose electrical connection and functionality of level switches.
W07Power Supply Warning; Press Standby
High Voltage max. not reached after three seconds. Turn system off, then on, to test recurrence. If still fault, replace HVPS and recalibrate it.
W08Power Supply Warning; Cycle Power
Turn system off, then on, to test recurrence. If still fault, replace HVPS and recalibrate it.
W09Power Supply Warning; Press Standby

- Measure output at the delivery device with a laser power meter against the setting.
- Fit a known-good delivery fibre / handpiece / applicator.
- Confirm the cooling system runs and the coolant is at level and clean.
- Check the key switch, door interlock and footswitch are satisfied.
- Escalate a confirmed laser-module / lamp / diode-bar or driver fault to the OEM; recalibrate power after any module work.
Symptom: Cooling / thermal shutdown
- Confirm the cooling fans / pump run and the airflow is clear.
- Check the coolant level and replace the coolant filter.
- Let the unit cool and restart.
- Clean the air filters / vents.
- Monitor for recurrence during a treatment.
Symptom: Burn marks at the fibre / handpiece tip / intermittent output
- Inspect the delivery fibre / applicator and its connector for damage or contamination.
- Re-cleave or replace the fibre.
- Clean the output optics per the manual.
- Confirm the applicator is recognised by the console.
- Re-measure output with a power meter.
Symptom: Will not fire / key, interlock or footswitch error
- Confirm the key switch is on and the door / remote interlock loop is closed.
- Test the footswitch and its cable.
- Check the aiming beam is present.
- Clear any standby / safety timeout.
- Replace the footswitch or refer the interlock circuit.
