EST-2 Electrical Safety Tester The is designed for testing the electrical safety of any electrical device including medical equipment with patient leads. It can be used to verify manufacturer’s specifications, to periodically maintain equipment safety and performance, and to verify the condition of a product following production. The wide power input range allows use of the unit on 110 or 220 volt systems without modification. The power outlet can be replaced by the user to adapt to any available outlet. Universal adapter outlets are available. The EST-2 is lightweight and easy to use. It is portable and perfect for both field and bench top use. Measurements include Line Voltage, Device Current, Leakage Current, and Resistance. Normal and Reverse Polarity, Open Neutral or Open Ground conditions are easily simulated without the need for additional equipment or wiring. Leads leakage measurements may be made in all of the above conditions for 12 patient leads. The desired test function can be selected easily from the front buttons and the measurement value read directly from the large display. [b][i]As of May 1st, 2015, this product has been discontinued.
