01HLD has not reached fill level
*Turns off Heater Plate Tubing or CPC is not plugged in all the way. If the level of HLD in the bottle is low and you are pumping air instead of HLD, you will get this code. Put a new HLD bottle in.
02HLD has not reached fill level during WILD cycle
*Turns off Heater Plate Tubing or CPC is not plugged in all the way. If the level of HLD in the bottle is low and you are pumping air instead of HLD, you will get this code. Put a new HLD bottle in.
03Rinse water has not reached fill level
Check water filter and connections from water inlet.
10Appropriate bottle temperature not reached within timeout period
Use a warm water bath to warm the HLD prior to placing it into the machine.
11HLD drain timeout
*Turns off Heater Plate This code occurs when the HLD in the disinfection chamber is taking too long to get back into the HLD bottle. Causes: Kinked line, defective valve, or defective pump.
20Unexpected fluid in disinfection chamber
*Turns off Heater Plate This code will occur when the end user turns the device off during a disinfection cycle. The device will pump whatever it is (HLD or water) into the drain. If the end user turns off the power for any reason during a disinfection cycle, upon the beginning of the next cycle, this code will appear. This code only occurs at the beginning of a cycle. The lower float switch (LS-DRN) indicates that something is in the chamber, which triggers the code. If HLD is in there, it will cause them to lose most of the bottle. 70% of the bottle is pushed into the chamber during a disinfection cycle. As a result, a new HLD bottle must be placed into the Astra device.
21LS-O activated
*Turns off Heater Plate Both the HLD float switch (LS-HLD) and Overflow float switch (LS-O) are activated during a cycle.
22HLD Bottle removed unexpectedly
*Turns off Heater Plate This code occurs when the end user removes the HLD bottle when they are not supposed to. The proximity sensor above Sensor Board A (A-HLD) on the main bulkhead detects this. The sensor is plugged into sensor board A (A-HLD).
23Disinfection chamber level dropped
*Turns off Heater Plate The HLD float switch (LS-HLD) is activated during an HLD or water cycle and becomes inactivated during the cycle.
24Disinfection chamber temperature too low
*Turns off Heater Plate This code occurs if bottle temp. is at bare minimum and sits in the chamber long enough to cool down below threshold. It will pump back into the bottle (Don't turn machine off - you will lose HLD).
25Rinse drain timeout
Quad valve (SV5) or drain pump (P-DRAIN) is faulty or tube connections to these components are kinked.
26WILD drain timeout
*Turns off Heater Plate Quad valve (SV4) or HLD pump (P-HLD) or Dual valve (SV2) is faulty or tube connections to these components are kinked.
27LS-HLD on when LS-DRN off (indicates bad CAP100 or connection)
*Turns off Heater Plate Upper float switch (LS-HLD) or Overflow float switch (LS-O) is faulty.
28Probe inserted inappropriately
Defective Sensor B Board or end user error. Probe sensor (CS-1 or CS-2) is activated at the wrong time.
29Probe removed inappropriately
Defective Sensor B board or end user error. If probe sensor (CS-1 or CS-2) is deactivated at the wrong time.
30Chamber door left open during HLD fill
Magnet or door sensor (DS-1) inside top cover is faulty. Sensor connects to Sensor B Board.
31No Pass Fail selected
The user needs training on MRC testing. The MRC testing timed out because no selection was made.
32Upper level sensor failure
*Turns off Heater Plate HLD Sensor does not activate during the HLD or water cycle, indicating that either the sensor is stuck or faulty.
40Both A missing
*Turns off Heater Plate The Main board does not see either of the Sensor A boards. Check the connections. Faulty connections, faulty main board, or faulty Sensor A boards.
41A-DC missing
*Turns off Heater Plate Sensor A Board for the Disinfection Chamber (A-DC) is not plugged in (this is located behind Sensor B board). Selector switch on this board must be set to 0.
42A-HLD missing
Sensor A Board on bulkhead (A-HLD) is not plugged in. Selector switch on this board must be set to 1.
43B missing
Sensor B Board is faulty. 2 switches have the same pin layout – 2 wires with 3 pin connector. If they are plugged into the wrong connector, it will damage the B board and require replacement.
44Display missing
Display board error.
