High Resolution, Premium Women’s Health Ultrasound Hybrid Digital Beamforming Technology and S-Vue Probe Technology Deliver Exceptional Image Clarity 5D Advanced Applications Available Including 5D Heart, CNS, LB, NT and Follicle to Streamline Workflow Fetal Realistic Vue(FRV) Offers 3D/4D Rendering with Excellent Detail and Realistic Depth Penetration 5D Heart (Fetal Heart Examination) 5D Heart is an innovative application which generates and displays 9 standard fetal echocardiography views by applying intelligent navigation technology to volume datasets of the fetal heart. 5D heart has an intuitive workflow that can simplify examination of the fetal heart and reduce operator dependency. 5D CNS (Fetal Brain Measurement) Using intelligent navigation, 5D CNS provides six measurements (BPD, HC, OFD, Cerebellum, Cisterna Magna, Atria of lateral ventricle) from three transverse views of the fetal brain to help facilitate measurement reproducibility and streamline workflow. 5D LB (Fetal Long Bone Detection) 5D LB efficiently locates, displays and measures fetal long bones (Radius, Ulna, Humerus, Femur, Tibia and Fibula) from within the 3D dataset, streamlining workflow while helping to facilitate measurement reproducibility. 5D NT (Nuchal Translucency Measurement) 5D NT intelligent navigation helps to simplify the NT measurement process by locating the precise mid-sagittal plane in a single step. Semi-automatic measurements are then performed for improved NT accuracy and reduce examination time. Designed For Convenience Streamline examination with 23" Full HD LED monitor, 10.1" touch screen and height-adjustable control panel. The adjustable gel warmer maintains a comfortable gel temperature from 80°F to 102°F. Two endocavity transducer holders are conveniently placed, one side-mounted and one behind the console.
Failure patterns typical of this equipment class - general BMET reference, not verified against this exact unit's own service history unless flagged. Severity is a category-level estimate.
Symptoms: Dropout, dead elements, image banding.
Root cause: Element delamination or cable damage from repeated use.
Symptoms: Intermittent image loss, connector-wiggle artifact.
Root cause: Repeated flexing and connector strain.
Symptoms: Frozen console, acquisition timeout.
Root cause: Workstation or storage degradation.
Symptoms: Dim image, color shift, dead pixels.
Root cause: Backlight or LCD panel aging.
The parts a BMET typically services on this class of equipment. Service class and relative cost are general engineering estimates for the category, not figures from this unit's documentation. Part numbers appear only when pulled from this unit's own service manual. Always confirm intervals and pricing against the manufacturer.
Handle with care; most-replaced probe assembly.
| Part | Service class | Relative cost | R&R difficulty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Transducer cable assembly | Periodic replacement | $$ | Fairly easy |
| Workstation / GPU | Periodic replacement | $$$ | Difficult |
| Display panel | Major service part | $$ | Moderate |
| Ultrasound transducer / probe Handle with care; most-replaced probe assembly. | Periodic replacement | $$$$ | Moderate |
Relative cost: $ lowest · $$$$ highest service-part cost for this equipment class. Not a price.
Preventive-maintenance tasks typical of this equipment class. Perform to the manufacturer's procedure and your facility's policy - this is general reference, not a schedule for this specific unit.
A structured starting point derived from the failure modes above. Follow the manufacturer's service documentation for the actual procedure.
