The user interface is based on a large color touch-screen that offers complete simplicity and ease of use. The Innova monitor is designed to offer high quality haemodialysis treatment with bicarbonate dialysis and ultrafilter for clean dialysis fluid. It features a safe and efficient blood module for double needle or single needle mode with single pump. Innova is the Hospal branded version of the Phoenix machine designed for the replacement of the Cobe CS3. Innova is a machine for hemodialysis offering the best compromise between quality and productivity. It's a single pump machine therefore with some limitations in therapies but with a list of equipment and options compatible with actual and future requirements for quality in dialysis. Innova is coming from the merging of successful features of two existing machines : the Integra hydraulics and CS3 blood module. The user interface is designed around a color touch screen and was developed with strong requirements of simplicity and clarity. This machine is intended to replace on the market the Cobe CS3 in 2002 and the Integra Alpha during 2003. Innova is a machine intended for standard hemodialysis treatment compared to Integra intended for advanced therapies.
