Discovery GSI may help achieve excellent results in a full range of abdominal studies. With GSIs ability to optimize contrast-media utilization, the Discovery GSI may enable exceptional vascular studies even at low contrast volumes -- of particular importance for patients with impaired renal function. • Metal-artifact reduction. Discovery GSI uses monochromatic images to perform precise projection measurements and minimize the signal errors caused by high-density material. • Cardiac Imaging. Discovery GSI addresses cardiac CTs biggest challenges, including calcium blooming, beam hardening and characterization of accurate perfusion and plaque characterization. It also integrates for the first time SnapShot Freeze and GSI Assist, which make it easy to achieve accurate functional and anatomical stenosis assessment with a single exam.
