A fluid warming system The Ecolab ORS solution warmer provides immediate access to warm irrigation fluid at a visible and controlled temperature to increase patient safety and reduce the risk of hypothermia. The temperature settings can be adjusted and locked at a range from room temperature to 120°F (49°C). It can also be mounted on the ORS-1075HS Hush Slush Machine, the ORS-1058HS Hush Slush Machine, or be used as a standalone unit

A source for potential manufacturing error was identified and investigation is underway to prevent further recurrence. The slits may lead to a breach in the sterile barrier between fluid in the basin and the slush/warming equipment.
