- Ensure the reservoir has both ice and water; allow ~10 minutes to stabilise.
- Confirm the outlet works and plugs are fully engaged, and the hose is not kinked.
- Disconnect and reconnect the pad and release trapped air at the unit connector.
- Place the unit on a raised surface and loosen wraps over the pad.
- Clean the inlet filter and reassemble.

- Lay the pad flat and below the unit and let it fill.
- Release air at the connector.
- Loosen any wraps or straps over the pad.
- Reapply once filled.

The dressing in the sterile pouch measures a thickness of 0.010" instead of 0.020". This change in thickness makes the dressing thinner, less durable and subject to tearing. The product is mislabeled.
