Infrared and Electrical Stimulation ACP's Neuroprobe 500 Pro is the only device of its kind in the industry with the capability to simultaneously deliver electrical stimulation and infrared therapy. The combination of infrared therapy and two channels of electrical stimulation provide clinicians with superior treatment flexibility. The unit's infrared therapy uses high-power Super Luminous Diodes (SLDs) at 630 and 875 nm to safely apply treatment at higher energy levels. The SLDs are embedded in flexible 5" x 7" neoprene pads for convenient placement. The system features pre-programmed, evidence-based protocols for Trigger Point Stimulation, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and Interferential Current Therapy (IFC). In addition, it offers innovative treatment protocols for Sequential Motor-Sensory stimulation and Nerve Block stimulation (Wedensky Inhibition) that produces a direct anesthetic effect to relieve pain associated with wounds or trauma.
